Christina and Augustus are the unearthly proprietors of an absurd gothic eatery. They guide the audience through the macabre tale of a business mogul and his fateful quest for an heir; serving up his just deserts. He thinks the café’s commitment to service will answer all his prayers but this is one business lunch he’ll wish he’d never taken. An original devising by Hocus Pocus Theatre company, Nightmare Café hosts a cabaret of fears, with grotesque burlesque, vaudeville, music and magic.

An hour long piece suitable for theatre, cabaret, festival tents and site specific performances in restaurant or café venues. Also available in a young person friendly murder mystery adaptation.
